Dr. Daniel Melendrez founded Ivory Electronics after two decades in electronics design and a PhD in Nanomaterials from the University of Manchester. That combination — deep materials-science training and hands-on engineering experience — is what lets Ivory take on instrumentation problems that a purely commercial electronics shop typically can’t.
Precision matters more in research electronics than almost anywhere else — a poorly characterised signal path or an under-specified sensor can quietly invalidate months of experimental work. We build with that in mind, treating every schematic and layout decision as something that has to hold up under scrutiny, not just under a demo.

Lead Project Engineer
Hi, I’m Attakawin, or Kwin (kay-win), Lead Project Engineer at Ivory Electronics Co., Ltd. My work focuses on power electronics, battery management, and the firmware and board design that tie them together. I work across the full stack — schematic and PCB layout in KiCad, firmware in C++ on ESP32 and STM32 — and I’m usually involved from the first prototype through to boards ready for assembly with the team. What keeps me interested is staying close to the hardware, at the level where you’re reading registers on a BMS IC and figuring out why the datasheet and the bench disagree. Away from the desk, I build things — mostly instruments and odd tools — and I’ve developed a genuine obsession with 3D printers and design, tuning and modifying my own machines far more than is strictly necessary. Most of my problems still get solved with a 0.1 uF cap.
Embedded Systems Engineer
I’m Boonyakorn Tanrattanakorn, an embedded systems engineer at Ivory Electronics Co., Ltd., where my work centers on embedded firmware development, digital instrumentation, and user interface design for hardware systems. I’m currently pursuing a B.E. in Computer Engineering at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. As avionics engineer for the university’s High Altitude Research Club, I’ve designed multi-sensor flight electronics, developed LoRa-based telemetry ground stations, and built real-time data logging and control systems, with work flown at IREC 2025 and the Spaceport America Cup 2024. I’m proficient across the STM32, ESP32, and Arduino platforms, working fluidly between PCB design in KiCad and firmware development in C/C++. I’m fluent in Thai, English, and conversational Japanese. Outside the “lab”, I’m frequently found in the company of the office cats, who consider me a good colleague (I hope)
Embedded Systems Engineer
Hi, I’m Natthanicha Phason, an Embedded Systems Engineer at Ivory Electronics Co., Ltd. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Systems Engineering from Khon Kaen University, and my background is in STM32-based embedded development, signal processing, and condition-based monitoring — most notably an STM32 vibration monitoring system that used FFT analysis to catch early signs of machinery failure. At Ivory, my work has moved into embedded video processing and highly specialized data transmission protocols, building on that same foundation of getting real-time signals from sensor to system reliably. I’m drawn to the parts of embedded design where timing, bandwidth, and signal integrity all have to hold up at once, and I like working through those constraints until a system performs the way it’s supposed to, not just on paper.

Collaborations
Ivory Electronics has worked alongside the University of Manchester, SmartIR Ltd, and Graphene Trace Ltd, university spin-outs and research groups working at the frontier of graphene and 2D materials technology. That work has kept us close to advanced materials research, informing how we design instrumentation for problems that do not have off-the-shelf solutions.
In Thailand, we work closely with Mahidol University to develop Teaching & Laboratory Instruments that support science education and research. By combining academic expertise with engineering excellence, we help create practical tools that enhance learning, experimentation, and innovation.
